Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. I had a pickup order of the best lasagna with meat sauce I've had. Cheesy, generous portion. This is the only place I will get lasagna from. I would like to try other items from the menu, but when you have something this delicious it's hard to order anything else.

I've been a customer since 1983 and the food was incredible but now a new cook has come in and for what ever reason the food doesn't taste as good. My last order ...cheesy beef was not prepared the way I requested, the meat wasn't tender, I can't eat peppers but I asked for the juice off of the peppers and they couldn't provide my request because they use a different type of peppers now that had been drained of the juices, and the most important request to make the beef very very wet and juicy...because I have difficulty swallowing, this request was not honored, and the last cook knew this and knew how to prepare my beef without me asking because I ordered the beef all the time, and he wanted to retain a good customer; because I was driving into Chicago to go to Al's just to get an Italian beef π but after the order yesterday, I will be going back to Chicago to Al's π₯Ί

First of all I want to thank the company for being open on 4th of July and to all the staff working. Sadly I ordered a pizza thin and crispy. Took it home opened the box and the top looked fine. When I went to grab a piece it was mush. Checked the whole pizza bottom was soggy and pale white. I called the store and they were pleasant and apologized but told me I should have ordered it "well done" Went back returned the pizza. Gentleman came out super pleasant attitude and showed me a pizza that was golden on the top outer crusts looked toasted. Again I was told that this would have been prevented if I asked for well done. I told him it looks better and I appreciate they made me new fries! Pizza was still soggy in the middle and they recooked the pizza I brought from home. I know they did because in honesty my toddler did pick a few sausages of the corners and I can see the gaps where the sausage is missing. Hoping this review will encourage the business to try to cook their pizza more on the bottoms and also I don't think after COVID it's a good idea to bring food from someone's home into their kitchen it's just a risk I wouldn't be comfortable about if I knew.

We got the school night special. It was not special. The pizza I got last night was not Cpa quality. It was very much like a bad frozen pizza that you get from the store. There was no flavor. There was barely any sauce. There was no cheese pull. It was overcooked and almost flavorless.
